Reflect on this... 

To make impact in life, give more than what you intend to receive. The truth is, it will always have a way of coming back to you but when all you care about is what you'll receive, you may never smash the goal or attain the height that you're envisaging.

You don't need a stage or podium before you can make a difference in people's lives. You don't even need all the money in this world to create a lasting impression in the heart of others.

This morning, I was a little behind schedule leaving for work. Where I'm living I need to make use of the services of a motorcyclist before getting to the junction where I'll get a tricycle that would convey me to my office.

We greeted and walked passed the lady whom I assume she was on her way to work as well. 

Behind us came a cyclist, within me, I prayed there shouldn't be a passenger. 😆the lady we exchanged pleasantries was a potential passenger as well.

The motorcyclist stopped to pick her but she directed him to us. I couldn't utter a word apart from waving at her since we were far apart from each other. She blessed my heart this morning. 

She made a huge sacrifice for me, her act inspired me, I began to think about how much difference we could make in peoples life even when they are strangers. 

This message dropped in my spirit "There is no limit to what we could achieve as an individual, if we learn to place others before us" 😆 writers🖍 get inspiration from anything and everything.

Making a difference in other people's life must not always be monetary. Often times, we deceive ourselves in to believing that we would have been there for people if we had enough financial resources to handle our needs as well as that of others.

In one of Mother Teresa's quote, "A helping hand is better than a praying lips." Mother Teresa. Note, this doesn't mean that you should not pray for others when but

A simple hello👋, 

genuinely showing interest in the well-being of others by getting to know how their day went or what they have been up to, 

a hug, 

a smile, 

sacrificing our time and comfort for the our neighbours, 

helping a friend or neighbour to showcase their business as well as make recommendations can go a long way in making difference in people's lives.

Giving money to support other peoples dream, if you can.

Goes a long way in making a difference in the lives of a person. Remember, our needs vary as well as the our capability towards the needs that we can meet. Give what you have.

What are you committed to doing this year that will create lasting impression in the heart of people.

Before you tell me about not being interested in what people would say due to the experience you've had with people who never feels you've done enough for them (at one point or the other, we have all experience this.) This is the sad reality about the world that we live in but then, this should not stop you from being a hand, shoulder or a voice when someone needs it. Be the Dorcas of our generation.

My commitment this year is to invest more on people, And I trust the Lord to lead me.
